Today is... what am I doing with my life... Today is National Lost Sock Memorial Day...
So, where we are to honor those socks that have gone missing in service to our feet by becoming lost in laundry... we mustn't forget those of the pair that remained, as we attempted in vain to find a partner for them. And then upon failing, just tossed them out. Because what else are we supposed to do with them? Suffer them the indignity of becoming rags we clean dusty surfaces with? No! Better they die in this way.
In five years, this will become either a reason to drink or hold a barbecue, because that's just how we roll.
