National Sugar Cookie Day? Seriously? Have we learned nothing from the threat of June giving us all diabetes?
Okay... pretend I care for a moment. There is a cookie out there that describes ALL cookies, which are both cookies and packed with sugar, and it gets a DAY to celebrate its existence?
I know that I'll still continue on with this inaccurate history business, but man, the way things are going in the political spectrum, shouldn't we have National Day for school shootings or Mexican children in cages? Since we appear to be somehow okay with it? Because we appear to be okay with happy sugar cookies that... do no damage? Or the damage they do is controllable?
Please don't celebrate National School Shootings and Mexican Children in Cages Day. And don't celebrate sugar cookies. Acknowledge and be real.
