13th American President Millard Fillmore is born. He would ascend to the presidency after the death of Zachary Taylor as a member of the Whig Party. When the Whigs would not endorse his bid to remain in office, Fillmore joined a conservative party that endorsed anti-immigration and anti-Catholic policies. Oddly enough, they were known as the Know Nothing party.
