Paul Revere rides from Charleston, South Carolina to Lexington, Kentucky to inform the people that "The British are coming!" William Dawes sets out on the same path but chooses to say: "The regulars are coming!" because the British were, of course, already here and pretty regular in the day-to-day doings. It's not as if they went somewhere and came back. Anyone out there understand how (inaccurate) history works?
